Jai's Big Run 2024

Since 2021 lil wabbit has donated almost £10,000 for the pets of people experiencing homelessness via the amazing charity StreetVet. In 2024 Jai has decided to take on his own personal challenge to support StreetVet's work by running 12 marathons in 12 months.

This is no small feat considering Jai has never run a marathon before - but if anyone could do it, it would be him!! 

Homelessness is a growing problem across the UK, with many of the people experiencing homelessness having a pet. In many circumstances, the pet was part of their life before they became homeless. The bond between many homeless people and their pets is profound and the health and wellbeing of their companions is often a major priority for their owners.

StreetVet's volunteer vets and vet nurses provide accessible fundamental veterinary care. They vaccinate, microchip, treat for fleas and worms, prescribe pain relief, help fight infections, perform surgeries and sometimes just sit and listen.

We think their work is invaluable and we hope to help them support even more animals in 2024.

There are a number of ways you can help Jai with his Big Run..

Share His Challenge - Sharing the Jai's Big Run poster on socials will help spread the word and find people who might want to contribute their support. StreetVet is a highly emotive charity as so many people care deeply about helping animals and those experiencing homelessness. The more people who hear about StreetVet, the better! 

Come & Join Us At One Of The Events - Take a look at the various marathon events on the bottom of the poster to see if we are coming to a town or city near you! We have chosen some great destinations; from Denbies Wine Estate in Sussex, to Manchester, to the Bath railway where the Two Tunnels challenge is hosted! We would love to have visitors for each one so don't hesitate to get in touch for details if there is a marathon you are interested in spectating, or dare I say.. running with him!!!
